Temari Sushi

Ingredients *1cup = 200ml

1 1/2 cups rice*
1 cup water*
3 Tablespoons Red Vinegar for Sushi and Vinegared Food
3 Tablespoons chopped parsley
1 Tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
60g cream cheese
30g prosciutto
30g smoked salmon
1/8 lemon

Directions

Step 1.

Rinse rice, add water and cook in a rice cooker. Cut the smoked salmon and prosciutto into 6 pieces each. Cut the cream cheese into 12 pieces.

Step 2.

After the rice is cooked, let it steam for a while. Sprinkle the Red Vinegar for Sushi and Vinegared Food over the rice, mix them together. Fan the rice to cool it down.

Step 3.

Add the chopped parsley and roasted sesame seeds, and the sushi rice is ready.

Step 4.

Place a piece of smoked salmon (or prosciutto) on a piece of plastic wrap and roll it up with the sushi rice from Step 3 (about 40g) and the cream cheese inside. (See tips)

Step 5.

Serve with a squeeze of lemon on top.

Tips

Temari Sushi

Wrap up each one with plastic wrap. Remove the plastic wrap right before eating and serve.

Cook’s Notes

Makes about 12 pieces (6 pieces smoked salmon, 6 pieces prosciutto).
This cute Temari Sushi is a good size to eat easily and is recommended for entertaining.
